Crepey Body Skin

There are several medical-grade solutions that can help improve crepey skin on the body. These solutions are available here at SkinHealth Studios in Palm Beach Gardens Florida… Here are a few options:

1. Retinoids: Topical retinoids, such as tretinoin, are derived from vitamin A and can help improve the appearance of crepey skin by increasing collagen production and promoting cell turnover.

2. Chemical peels: Chemical peels involve the application of a chemical solution to the skin, which exfoliates the outer layer and stimulates collagen production. This can help improve the texture and firmness of crepey skin.

3. Microneedling: Microneedling is a procedure that involves creating tiny punctures in the skin using a device with fine needles. This stimulates collagen and elastin production, leading to smoother and tighter skin.

4. Laser therapy: Laser treatments, such as fractional laser resurfacing or intense pulsed light (IPL), can improve the appearance of crepey skin by stimulating collagen production and targeting pigmentation irregularities.

5. Radiofrequency (RF) therapy: RF therapy uses radiofrequency energy to heat the deeper layers of the skin, stimulating collagen production and tightening the skin.

Necks: Volume loss on the face will make the neck sag. Replace volume loss with CO2 laser and/or RF

Chest:  Collagen stimulation with Sculptra, then red and brown discoloration with IPL/BBL if needed, then tackle deeper brown spots and wrinkles with Fraxel Dual or CO2 done lightly. Add Anteage MDX for extra umph.

Upper Arm:  mid-level RF tightening with Morpheus or EmSculpt (don’t love the options for this). If very crepey, then consider body dilution Sculptra for collagen building. Use a BHA 2% lotion or 12% lactic acid lotion.

Forearm:  Body dilution Scuptra works here, plus light RF or even microneedling done with stem cells.

Hands: Try plumping first with Radiesse 1 syringe in each hand. Light RF or even light microneedling with AnteAGE MDX.

Abdomen: nothing beats gym workouts for this area

Buttocks/Glutes:  Okay… I still think the gym is the best, or a home glute set up (see the web) that takes 10-20 min 2-3 times a week. You will build muscle in that area which can solve the majority of the problem. Cellulite is its own issue because it’s related to how the fat it tethered underneath and may not respond to the gym. Sculptra/Radiesse dilutionworks well here but is expensive because a lot is needed. Stair climbing (like 20-30 flights) 1-2 times a week can also really help you firm up. You’ll see results in 2-4 weeks.

Thighs: Sometimes lipo just leaves more loose skin. There’s some skin tightening, usually with CS. Body dilution Sulptra and hyperdilute Radiesse can help here. RF is great here too.
